Enhanced ISSAP Online Self-Paced Training Now Aligns to Domains

ISSAP Train by Domain

You’re a leader in cybersecurity. And in this ever-changing industry where cyberthreats grow in sophistication every day, you recognize the importance of strong information systems security architecture to defend organizations and their critical assets against bad actors.

Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) certification from ISC2 demonstrates that you have the advanced knowledge and skills to develop, design and analyze security solutions and provide risk-based guidance to meet organizational goals.

There are now two ways to earn the ISSAP — including a second path that removes the CISSP requirement. This new option makes the ISSAP accessible to more professionals seeking certification that specifically demonstrates their advanced knowledge, skills and abilities in the fields of security architecture.

Path 1: CISSPs in good standing must have a minimum of two years of cumulative full-time experience in one or more of the six domains in the current ISSAP Exam Outline.

Path 2: All other candidates must have a minimum of seven years of cumulative full-time experience in two or more of the six domains in the current ISSAP Exam Outline. Earning a post-secondary degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in computer science, information technology (IT) or related fields or an additional credential from the ISC2-approved list may satisfy one year of the required experience. Part-time work and internships may also count toward the experience requirement.
