ISC2 Bylaws Voting Status

Voting on 2023 Bylaws amendments has concluded. The result is to adopt the amendments proposed by the Bylaws Committee. Following members voting to adopt recommended Bylaws changes in 2023, restated and amended Bylaws will be effective January 1, 2024.

Thank you for your continued patience. Following the discovery of an authentication vulnerability in the voting platform, and out of an abundance of caution, our security team has been thoroughly reviewing our protocols, processes and integrity of the voting platform to ensure it meets the level of security our members expect. This has taken time, which we consider worth the delay in re-establishing voting.

We are near the end of that process, and anticipate voting being back up by the end of this week once final testing is complete. Please remember that all previous votes will need to be recast.

A vulnerability has been identified in our bylaws voting platform. We hold the integrity of our member voting paramount and have suspended voting until a secure environment is restored. No data were compromised.

We will provide updates when available. All members will have an opportunity to vote prior to the August 1, 2023, Special Meeting. To ensure the integrity of the results, all members will be asked to resubmit their vote. We are committed to making that process as easy as possible.

We realize this creates inconvenience; however, we want to maintain the high security standards our members expect.
