Use Your Knowledge. Leave a Legacy. Build the Future Profession.
ISC2 is building a Unified Body of Knowledge for the cybersecurity profession – All cybersecurity professionals are invited to participate in this landmark project.
The Unified Body of Knowledge will provide ISC2 members, non-members and the cyber-curious a place to access cybersecurity best practices, innovations, evergreen knowledge, role-specific insights and thought leadership developed by security professionals for security professionals.
Unified Body of Knowledge
The Unified Body of Knowledge will be an accurate, well-sourced and accessible online knowledge base that supports the needs of professionals from beginner to expert.
The Unified Body of Knowledge will transition ISC2 from scheme-dependent ISC2 Common Bodies of Knowledge (CBKs) to a single corpus. It will support ISC2’s knowledge management strategy from foundational to advanced concepts. It will also refresh all current ISC2 CBKs, resulting in:
- New insights for innovation and the improvement of knowledge management methods
- Stronger networks to facilitate idea exchange and diversity of thought
- Retiring dated or obsolete ideas and practices
- A collaboration boost between ISC2, its members and volunteers
