ISC2 Members Supporting the Center’s Mission
The mission of the Center is to grow the cybersecurity profession and its positive impact on the world by raising awareness, building a diverse pipeline of cybersecurity professionals and activating a more secure digital world.
The Center’s four areas of focus:
- Educating the public on how to stay cyber safe
- Cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity professionals
- Helping small businesses and nonprofits to protect themselves from cyber threats
- Supporting the wellbeing of those in cybersecurity
New in 2024, ISC2 members can now easily give to the Center alongside their annual maintenance fee. More than 7,000 ISC2 members gave more than $86,000 in 2024 with their AMF to support the Center’s mission which is a 702% increase in donor base.
At the ISC2 Security Congress 2024, a premier cybersecurity conference featuring educational sessions and networking opportunities for cybersecurity professionals, the Center provided a “puppy lounge” where attendees could take a break and relax with puppies. Through this partnership, attendees supported both the Center as well as a local animal rescue.
