Frank Shirmo, CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP

Frank Shirmo, B.S & M.S Computer Science, Doctor of Management/Leadership Candidate, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP®), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP®), Certified Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP®) is a hands-on global cybersecurity leader with decades of experience in GRC, infrastructure, and software security.

In his current position as the Chief Information Security Officer for an AI Services company and SaaS provider, Frank maintains overall responsibility for building a cyber defense and posture that meets the security requirements of a client base which consists of the highest profile and largest organizations in the world. Frank also assumes the overall responsibility for compliance with various regulations, standards, and security frameworks including GDPR, SOC 2, ISO27001, and FedRAMP. In his previous role as VP of Corporate and Product Security, Frank fulfilled similar functions for his employer.

Tracing back to the earliest days of his career, Frank had served defense, technology, financial, and the telecom industries in various positions.

With over 30 years of training experience, Frank has trained thousands of technologists and security professionals in the public and private sectors globally.
