Frank Shirmo, CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP

Frank Shirmo, B.S & M.S Computer Science, Doctor of Management/Leadership Candidate, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP®), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP®), Certified Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP®), Former Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI-QSA v3.2) is a hands-on global cybersecurity leader with decades of experience in GRC and AppSec.

In his current position as the Chief Information Security Officer, Frank maintains overall responsibility for building a cyber defense and posture that meets the security requirements of a client base which consists of the highest profile and largest organizations in the world. Frank also assumes the overall responsibility for compliance initiatives including SOC 2, ISO27001, and FedRAMP. In his previous role as VP of Corporate and Product Security, Frank fulfilled similar functions for his employer based in Scottsdale Arizona.

Tracing back to the earliest days of his career, Frank had served government contractors, financial, and the telecom industries in various positions including computer scientist, software developer, and software architect making significant contributions to large-scale and complex projects.

With over 30 years of training experience, Frank has trained thousands of software and information security professionals in the public and private sectors globally.
