Meet ISC2 Instructor Robert “John” Warsinske
Robert “John” Warsinske, CISSP, CCSP, CGRC, SSCP
Robert John Warsinske has more than 40 years of technology experience across a broad range of platforms. He has been a Network Engineer, Senior Security Engineer and a Chief Information Officer for a county government in the United States. He has worked in public, non-profit and private sectors and at the local, state and federal levels. Mr. Warsinske also served as an intelligence officer in the US Army. His assignments ranged from tactical to strategic contexts, with service in peace, peacekeeping and war. He retired from reserve service in 2018, but has maintained an appropriate security clearance. He also worked as a subject matter expert in the development of current ISC2 course content. In a similar fashion, Mr. Warsinske was asked in 2016 to be one of the initial cadre of instructors for the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) course. He has taught that material continuously since its introduction. An instructor for the CISSP since 2014, Mr. Warsinske has been active in the revision of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. In 2018, He was the lead author for the Official ISC2 Guide to the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), and subsequently worked as a subject matter expert in the development of the current CISSP course material. In addition to his ISC2 certifications, Mr. Warsinske holds or has held certification from the Project Management Institute (PMP), the Cloud Security Alliance (CCSK), the Disaster Recovery Institute, Inc (ACBP), Novell, Inc (CNE), and several others.
