Royal Harrell, CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, CGRC, CSSLP, CCSP

Mr. Harrell has been a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Information Systems Security Professional (ISSP), a member of a USAF Cyber Protection Team (CPT). He retired from the U.S. Air Force (USAF), with 23 ½ years of service as an electronic warfare technician, and finally as logistics specialist. He has been performing security related duties since 1983, and started teaching classes part-time while stationed in Korea in 1985, his first night school courses were basic and digital electronics. While in the USAF, Mr. Harrell was assigned training duties for incoming electronic warfare technicians from technical school and re-trainees from other USAF jobs. He also became the software development security NCOIC for a military personnel and equipment deployment application. When he retired from the USAF, he was a substitute instructor for math, science, and physics working at the Stavanger International school in Stavanger Norway while he was stationed overseas with his then active duty USAF wife. After living in Norway for 3 years, he moved back to the states to Colorado Springs CO, where Mr. Harrell became an evening instructor at one of the local colleges teaching computer sciences and math classes. Colorado Springs is also where he started work as a DOD contractor working with security, and certification and accreditation (now RMF) of USAF space systems. After all the years of security and IT training, he has earned more than 34 IT certifications Education and Credentials: ISC2 CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CSSLP, CCSP, and CGRC; Cisco CCNA R&S, and Security; Oracle 10g OCP;  M.S. Database Systems and Security;  CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer+;  11 SANS Certifications (GPEN, GCFE, GMOB, GWEB, GREM, GXPN, GPPA, and GWAPT);  EC-Council CE|H, ESAP.
