Content Curator - NIS 2 Directive

A Content Curator discovers, selects, organizes, and shares valuable and relevant content related to the NIS 2 Directive to create NIS 2 Directive Implementation Guidelines. These guidelines serve as a comprehensive framework and provide implementation guidance for EU cybersecurity professionals.

Purpose

Reviews the NIS 2 Directives. Contributions ensure that the preparation of EU NIS 2 Directives practical & easy-to-follow guidance.


Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand the NIS 2 Directives, including all articles, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Identify and evaluate the challenges and uncertainties faced by EU member states.
  • Recommend and quantify the steps for meeting compliance requirements and safeguarding the covered organizations.
  • Commit to providing prompt reviews, and meeting established deadlines to maintain project cadence.
  • Willing to sign NDA to maintain confidentiality regarding the content being reviewed.
  • Foster a collaborative and constructive environment among SMEs.

Skills Required

  • Regions and knowledge of ISC2’s EU Markets.
  • Must hold the CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP, ISSMP, CGRC or CCSP certification and be a member in good standing.
  • Cybersecurity expert with a passion for writing and research.
  • Firm understanding of business-level English. This requires the ability to read, write, and speak in meetings on technical topics with other SMEs exclusively in English.
  • Passion for advancing the global cyber security profession through learning and development.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and editorial standards.

Training

No special training is required; however, an orientation will be provided to all attendees.


Time Requirement

  • One-day (8 hours) workshop
  • Activities are both self-paced and team-driven

Travel Requirement

No travel is required.


Start/End Date

Sept 10th 2024 ongoing through November 2024.


CPE Credit(s)

A total of 10 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for a one-day workshop.


CPE Submission Process

ISC2 will submit CPE credits on behalf of the volunteer.
